Migratory waterfowl by the millions pass through Eastern Virginia on their way south to avoid the cold winters of the north and
again on their way north to nest and raise their young.
The days of skies darkened by flight of ducks
and geese may be gone, but the memories
of those days are preserved through
the works of art and artifacts
preserved at the
Atlantic Wildfowl Heritage Museum
The Museum displays wildfowl art and artifacts
that are the finest in The Hampton Roads Area
and old decoys that are representative of the most
well known, turn of the century decoy carvers.
